Backed by a strong and committed investment partner with an environmental, social and governance focus that aligns closely with their own, Allegra Care are creating a portfolio of modern, fit-for-purpose nursing and dementia homes across central and southern England. Initial growth is based on acquisition and renovation of going concerns. To this end, Perception are working closely with Allegra Care to facilitate seamless onboarding of new properties, such as a group of five homes in Hampshire and the New Forest re-launched in the summer of 2021.

The onboarding process encompasses every aspect of the homes’ branding and presentation - from signage, vehicle livery and staff apparel to advertising, leaflets and stationery. Perception also collaborated with Allegra Care’s web agency, copywriting the entire corporate website and microsites for each of the individual care homes.

Focusing on excellent working conditions and in-service benefits, recruitment leaflets were individually designed for each care home.

Print and advertising collateral established and built upon a clean, modern brand, unifying individual homes under a consistent and cohesive corporate style based on clear, simple messaging and image-led by strong, punchy photography.

The individual homes’ stationery reinforces these brand values, with an emphasis on clean, modern typography and powerful use of the corporate colour palette.

As all of the homes enjoy period character and beautiful settings, newly commissioned photography is placed front and centre of all promotional print. Selling points are articulated through a combination of informal, personal messaging from each home’s registered manager, supported by client testimonials.

The onboarding process also involved re-branding the previous operator’s fleet of minibuses and vans. Working closely with third party signage contractors, the entire fleet of vehicles was re-badged in a day, ensuring minimal disruption to the company’s day to day transport operations.

Press advertising and local maildrops for individual homes reinforce the simplicity and clarity of the brand, using imagery and concise, impactful text to draw out USPs and establish key points of difference.
